Brief about the department

To cope with the great development witnessed by the founder's university and in accordance with strategic plan for the university, the department of operation and maintenance was listed in the general administration for facilities, this led the general administration for facilities to be one of the biggest directorates in the founder's university and it has a lot of responsibilities and the directorate has an important role and multiple responsibilities in all parts of university.

The most obvious tasks of the directorate are summarized in:
1-Supervising the preparation of annual plan for protective maintenance, urgent maintenance and its execution.
2- Application of suitable and effective modern systems and techniques for operating and maintaining the buildings and facilities of university cities and its affiliated locations.
3- Preparation of programs needed for preserving the University City's entities and facilities and taking the measures necessary for guaranteeing its execution.
4- Updating and developing the technical specifications for the contracts of facilities' maintenance and supervising on their execution.
5- Supporting and modernizing the plantation with multiple species of plants to decorate the internal and external facilities of the university.
6- Maintaining the cultivated areas in the university and improving its level by showing it with aesthetic form.
7- Supervising on the works of operation and maintenance of facilities, buildings, public utilities, restorations, cleaning and agriculture.
8- Preparing estimates for the budgets of general administration for facilities.
9- Evaluating the performance of affiliated departments and directorates and employees of general directorate of facilities.
10- Preparing and applying corrective and preventive procedures for the cases of non-conformity, violations and disadvantages.
11- Preparing periodical reports about the works of administration and its affiliated departments.

The general administration for facilities is also seeking to get ahead of the game in insuring all ways of comfort, safety, prosperity for all university's students and its kind members.
