Objectives / Goals


  1. Contributing to the achievement of the objectives of: the General Administration of facilities by improving and updating the performance of the work of the Department of Housing
  2. Implementation of the regulations and government instructions relating to own reside employees of the University of the Categories set forth in the regulations and instructions
  3. Create an organizer and integrated program of work related to the housing in, and necessary requirements for the residential units

 

Tasks


  1. Study the necessary requirements for the housing units for employees of the University and to provide them.
  2. Application of the rent of the property by the state and its implementing regulations when renting of buildings and estates so at to be used facilities for the sectors of the university and colleges
  3. Rental of housing units outside the campus under the guidance of senior management and its governing instructions
  4. Participation in the committees of inspection of buildings to be leased, and the preparation of the necessary records
  5. Receipt of the buildings to be leased, and the preparation of the necessary records
  6. Coordination with the concerned authority for approval and financial commitment for the rental of estates and residential units, and disbursements from the rental of buildings 
  7. Allocation of the housing units for housing-demanders In light of the rules
  8. Receiving and delivery of housing units for faculty members in accordance with rules established by the system
  9. Follow-up of the maintenance services in the residential units and complexes with the competent authorities
  10. Coordination with the Department of Finance to deduct the reserved portion for rent from the resident’s monthly salary   
  11. Follow-up of the financial credit on the populations so as to be paid 
  12. Meet the needs of the populations according to the possibilities
  13. Communicating of the concerned authorities for provision of services to the residential units
  14. Follow-up contracts for rental of premises, and renewal as needed, and the subsequent procedures 
  15. Report the Direct-Head to support the management by staff with experience and skill
  16. Preparation of periodic reports on the functioning of the management and submits the report to the Supervisor of Public Administration of the facilities
